Originally founded in 1979 as an electrical contracting company, The Contractors’ Rental Equipment Company—better known as CRECO (pronounced cree-co)—grew alongside the increasing need for reliable, specialized equipment. As demand grew, so did our inventory, eventually leading to the launch of CRECO Rental as its own dedicated business.
Today, CRECO is a proud, family-owned company based in Tucson, Arizona. With decades of experience and a commitment to great service, we’re here to help contractors and DIYers get the job done right.

Steven understands the value of a well-run, family-owned business. Originally from Colorado, he grew up watching his parents build strong customer relationships through their work at Rent-All Rentals in Cortez.
Inspired by their dedication, Steven embraced the opportunity to bring that same level of care and service to Tucson through CRECO Rental. He is committed to upholding CRECO’s mission of providing fast, friendly service while helping customers find the right equipment for their projects. Outside of work, Steven enjoys quality time with his wife and children and is a passionate sports fan.

Jay relocated to Tucson with his family a few years ago and quickly fell in love with the community. A passionate foodie, he enjoys discovering new places to eat, spending time outdoors, and attending local sporting events.
His career in the equipment industry began over 20 years ago in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he developed strong expertise in both sales and operations management. Jay joined the CRECO team in November 2018 as the Outside Sales Manager. He takes pride in working alongside a dedicated team and values the lasting relationships he builds with customers.

We rented a backhoe from them, overall a great experience. Great price and great customer service! Would definitely rent from them again.
They have it all. If you gotta dig holes big or small. This is the place. Wanna push some dirt around? They will set you up. Also, the front desk folks got the right attitude and knowledge on everything in the yard. The rolling stock wheel or track is very well maintained and clean. This is the place I go.

These folks are awesome. Their rental prices are fair and reasonable. They maintain their equipment on site so it is good to go when time for you to rent.
I was in the middle of unloading a semi truck trailer when my friend's backhoe died. I called Steven at Creco around noon and told him what I needed. Steven had a dirt road capable forklift to my address in under an hour, for a very reasonable rate. Creco really came through for me in a pinch, and they've now got a customer for life. Thanks!
